about

The Amatory Murder are proud to release our newest EP, 'Lonely Boy'!

Following up on our most recent album, 'A Different Frequency', 'Lonely Boy' includes a new song as it's title track featuring the beautiful, angelic vocals of Victoria Wagner as well as the funky intricate bass playing of John Ferrara [of Consider The Source]. With its dance hall vibe it's a bit of a departure from our usual sound, but we think you'll enjoy it.

But wait! There's more! To give our fans another unique perspective, we've also included five additional tracks of our songs re-interpreted, re-imagined and remixed either by individual band members or other musicians we really respect. Each track lends itself to different moods but manages to keep the idea of communication and turmoil which was a big theme from 'A Different Frequency'.

Track Name: Lonely Boy [feat. Victoria Wagner]
Let me tell you a story
Just about another guy.
Goin' bout his daily life
Wakes up and thanks the sky.

Well see now, he listens to Mom and Dad
To be the best he can.
Raised to think that he's special
A one-in-a-kind of man.

He's a lonely boy
He's so misunderstood.
He's a lonely boy
He's always been so good.

You think he'd be resentful
But nah, he's just a little confused.
Living life inside his head
For the most part he's amused.

Well, sometimes he's feelin' empty
His ambitions are so high.
In a world that can hold you down
In a world that can make you cry.

He's a lonely boy
He's so misunderstood.
He's a lonely boy
He's always been so good.
He's a lonely boy
He's lost inside his dreams.
He's a lonely boy
A tragic broken scene.

He's down with his own beat
He knows that he can fly.
Far from conformity
And all that it denies.
He'll have you on your knees
When he becomes renowned.
And when he rules this world
He'll burn it to the ground.

He's a lonely boy
He's so misunderstood.
He's a lonely boy
He's always been so good.
He's a lonely boy
He's lost inside his dreams.
He's a lonely boy
A tragic broken scene.
Track Name: Chelsea [Michael Spivack 'Dark Future' Mix]
The sky is grey / As I sit in this room.
A wasted day / Of memories I exhume.
This creaking chair / On a stained wood floor.
Shows decades of wear / Souls have drowned here before.

Well I could end
I could end it now.
As I descend
I could end it now.

Another sip / To keep the anger down
I watch the room spin on / One-twenty ounces now.

Well I could end
I could end it now.
As I descend
I could end it now.

La la la la la
La la la la la

Well I could end
I could end it now.
As I descend
I should end it now.
